Home & Garden Show 2013

2013 Home and Garden Show at the Bell County Expo

February 23 & 24th

Every time I see an empty booth space, I see an opportunity!

It’s an opportunity for you to stop in and get a sample, and it’s an opportunity to reach our family’s goals!

I love the energy of events!  If I could have a job working at events or running events, I think I would be a happy camper!

< A big Thanks to the Raven Queen for allowing me the use of her tree!  I really do like this tree, do you know what kind it is so I can find one for my home? >

The best part about events is familiar faces and of course meeting new friends!

Something to remember when doing events is to be flexible and to have a back up plan for the back up plan!

I had prepared for one demo, only to find out the day before during setup that I had forgotten to order the Fabric Bleach!  Luckily I had several SA8 tubs and was inspired to show a very simple demo…

All I did was place 1 spoon of our Planet Positive laundry detergent and 1 spoon of the leading brand detergent into a cup of water.  The first thing you notice is the exploding crystals of the SA8… pretty cool!  The next thing was that the SA8 dissolved into the water where as the other stuff… hung around.

No joke.  This is what clings to the fiber of your clothes… Do I really need to say more?

Several attendees wanted to buy, but this is one of those demo only events for me.  So instead I went ahead and gave a full size SA8 tub free of charge. :D   The SA8 demo was real easy, and the best part was that I only did it 2 or 3 times during the day ~ it pretty much speaks for itself!

The other demo I did at this event was one with shoe polish.  I placed some either on my hand or on a willing volunteer’s hand.  Shoe polish as we know is greasy and likes to rub off of everything.  With the Multipurpose wipes, I showed how easy it was to get off and how great our Liquid Organic Cleaner smells in action.  One guy that worked with engines volunteered… and when we went to wipe his hand off… we ended up wiping several layers of grease off!

< He walked away from the booth looking like he had a farmer’s tan! No kidding the difference was night and day! >

I made the mistake of saying that the bottle of concentrate was roughly $10 each.  I always have a hard time remembering numbers, but I did tell them to check the current prices online!

The other thing I passed out was information about our air and water purifiers.  It was after all a Home & Garden Show.

Finally, especially at an event like this, you need to make sure you bring business cards or pens!  They may not be ready to buy, but they do need a way to contact you when they are!

New Pens 2013There is a bunch of different promotional items you can go with.  For me it’s Pens all the way!

< Thank you Penny from ipenshop.com for your Awesome customer service & attention to detail! >

The next event I will be at is the Fort Hood Army Wives Expo.  My focus at this event is the BodyKey weight loss program (really exciting!), organic vitamins like Double X, and the XS Premium Energy Drinks.

Say Hello & Come see me for the Good Stuff!

    1. Thanks! How can you tell?

    2. It kinda looks more like a braided money tree. Just my humble opinion, of course! :)
